A Stylist's Guide to Festival Dressing

Coachella, Glastonbury, Woodstock, Longitude, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Wireless... the list could be the length of this blog post – choosing which festival to attend can be tricky. No matter your preference, there’s a festival out there to tantalise your musical taste buds. As well as deciding whether to camp or 'glamp', and which acts are simply unmissable, you need a headline-worthy wardrobe to match. We’ve asked our resident stylists what they’ll be wearing to festivals this summer to inspire your outfit choices.
Men’s Look by Dan
For my festival look, I’ve opted for the Paul Smith Paradise T-Shirt for a casual base with white Polo Ralph Lauren Classic-Fit Prepster Shorts to keep you cool during hot summer days. For footwear, comfort is key, which is why I’ve chosen sneakers to complete the look. The Givenchy Jaw Sneakers, a staple of the fashion house, work well with this outfit: their flexible design will allow you to dance all night long.
For accessories, the côte&ciel Isarau S Bag will keep your essentials to hand in the brand’s characteristically sleek design, and for jewellery: a Vivienne Westwood Sigillo Ring. To top it off, pun intended, the Valentino VLTN Camouflage Bucket Hat will have you festival ready.

Women’s Look by Elly
For me, festival wear is all about the statement accessories, bold eyewear would ensure you get the perfect pic for the ‘gram. Balenciaga Eyewear’s futuristic designs would work perfectly, the Ski Cat Sunglasses would be my style of choice. To complement the bold design of the shades I would wear it with the flattering off-shoulder
REDVALENTINO Striped Peplum Top, and McQ Alexander McQueen Cali Patched Denim Shorts (denim shorts are a festival must)!
To finish it off the Burberry Monogram Print Belt Bag would keep your hands free, and your belongings safe, the red print matches the design on the shorts and adds a statement colour to the outfit. The bold orange print is a nice contrast to the fresh, summery blues of the top and shorts. I'd wear it with the Off-White Black Runner Sneakers and, as a finishing touch, I’d add the Isabel Marant Casablanca Rings .
