For a casual men's autumn look I have gone for something classic, building the outfit from the BOSS knitwear base. The BOSS Leno-B Sweater is made from extra-fine merino wool, making it soft to touch, and the subtle grey colour is very versatile. Layering is a great trick for dressing in autumn, I'd start by wearing the Burberry polo shirt underneath the BOSS knit, adding the Stella McCartney blouson on top. The Gucci chino is the perfect trouser for this look and the green Saint Laurent sneaker matches the green panels on the jacket. Lastly, a Paul Smith leather completes the look.
I've incorporated a different knitwear shape into this contemporary menswear look; the Gucci Flying Pig knitted long sleeve polo shirt. I’ve added the Ralph Lauren long sleeve as a base layer to go underneath the polo shirt. The colours from the polo shirt work really well with the popular Off-White Odsy-1000 Off-White Platform sneaker. For legwear, I’ve chosen Gucci trousers in a light blue, keeping to the blue-green colour scheme, this trouser is the perfect hybrid between a chino and a track pant and the cuffed bottoms sit perfectly atop the Off-White sneaker. I'd add the Off-White Puffy Crossbody Bag which picks out some of the yellow detailing in the sneakers and a Polo Ralph Lauren baseball hat caps off the outfit (pun intended).
For a more contemporary approach to a knitwear look, I've based this outfit around the statement Off-White sweater which features a chequerboard pattern that Off-White has featured across their FW19 collection. I’ve layered the oversized black Kenzo coat over it, adding a white cropped trouser from MSGM underneath, which make a good alternative to your favourite pair of jeans. In keeping with the monochrome look, I’ve added the Off White 4.0 Sneaker.
