It is always a coup to have a new brand at Giulio – and none more so than this. The epitome of luxurious men’s tailoring; Thom Browne. Browne began with just 5 suits and now designs some of the most covetable pieces in menswear and regularly shows at Paris fashion week under his eponymous label.

While he is famed for his serious tailoring and dedication to sophisticated cuts Thom Browne is also known for his playful and evocative runway shows. Both his men’s and women’s shows are fuelled by creativity; a suit is not simply a suit. There have been zombies, huge dog masks and mermaid tails. While Thom has dedicated himself to the pursuit of tailoring perfection, he has also injected personality into items that can so often lack in ingenuity – when was the last time you marvelled at the creative styling of a suit? His theatrical shows prove that one’s own personality and style should show through while wearing his garments.

Unlike many fashion designers, it was a chance encounter with the industry that led to his incredible career, not a lifelong ambition for the industry. Soon after landing a job at the New York Giorgio Armani showroom in 1997 he was designing for Club Monaco which eventually led him to set up his own label in 2001. After initially starting with 5 suits and one shop Browne now boasts 31 stores worldwide, a women’s wear label, and can be found in hundreds of independent boutiques worldwide.

If there was ever a time to invest in Browne – it is now. Browne is creating gorgeous pieces that are timeless, not dull. Providing you take care of your pieces they’ll be with you for a very long time.

The appeal of his style spans across generations. His soft cardigans can be paired with a white shirt and tie as well as they can be worn over a graphic t-shirt. We’ll leave the exact details to you.

Welcome, Thom Browne.
