First inspired by the 1969 moon landing, Italian designer, Giancarlo Zanetta, immediately began plans to craft the original moon boot and make it accessible to all. Initially, the boots were launched as apres-ski essentials but with the rise of retrofuturistic fashion trends in the 2000s, the iconic boots soared in popularity, both on and off the slopes. 50 years later, Moon Boot continues to experiment and reimagine the boots revolutionary design, making it wearable as everyday footwear.
